Home page is a starting point of users’ journey on many websites. It also contains core information about a website. Users often return to Home page when they are lost in a site, finish one journey, and want to start a new one or looking for some information. By displaying a link labeled Home under a logo on the right corner of each page, site creators are making it easy to complete this task for users. Unfortunately, many websites today eliminate this text link and left only a logo. For people who spent a lot of their time next to the screen, it can be evident that a logo is clickable. But if your site is intended for a wide range of people, there could be people who are not designers. In a calm situation, they could logically guess that logo is clickable. But in a case when they are scanning a page searching for information, they can get lost. So while creating a site, remember that you are making this site for people, not yourself.
